Sensory control and motor output in defensive turning behavior of the crayfish, modulation of claw closure in the crayfish, aggregation behavior of ladybird beetles.
Thesis Topics:
Animal physiology, especially interaction between neural physiology and behavior in crayfish
Insect mating systems – ladybird beetle aggregations
Analysis of animal locomotion (computer aided motion analysis and electro physiology)
