Catalog Description: A hands-on introduction to choosing, applying, and interpreting the results of statistical methods for life scientists. The course will include traditional parametric statistics, such as t-tests, analysis of variance, correlation and regression analysis, together with powerful non-parametric randomization tests. Data presentation and experimental design will be addressed, together with a miscellanae of less-common statistical techniques that find use outside of the laboratory setting.
