| Catalog Description: This course is concerned with the molecular aspects of the cells of higher organisms; emphasis on, and reading of, current research. The laboratory includes autoradiography, histology, fractionation of cell organelles, and protein purification. Time will be available for individual projects. Discussion three hours, laboratory four hours. Prerequisites: Biology 43, 44, Chemistry 14 and 15, or 29, and permission of instructor. Enrollment limited to 18. Laboratory fee $50.
